Florida

August 2004 - Mike and Carrie traveled to Florida and stayed in Uncle Bobby's condo in the Indian Shores area, South of Clearwater - Thanks Uncle Bobby!  We went to Universal studios, ate at several wonderful seafood restaurants, visited Tarpon Springs - sponge capital of the world, and guess what, we saw a sign that said karaoke tonight - $100 contest.  Well that peaked our interest so we decided to go to this bar - Sassy's - and do some karaoke.  Sassy's is a great bar and is located at 14450 Walsingham Road, Largo, Florida.  www.sassysmartinibar.com

Carrie sang and the crowd really enjoyed her.  Carrie entered the contest and won the $100 prize!  We had so much fun at Sassy's that we have decided to return to Florida to compete in the finals for $500 on September 14, 2004.  Here are some pictures of the event:
